Story/Katha

The moneylender in the city had all he needed. He had everything in place for pleasure and magnificence, yet he experienced a tremendous deal of sadness in his life. He didn't have any children. He began fasting on Monday with complete commitment in order to have a kid. He walked to the pagoda and began worshipping Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati as prescribed by law. Goddess Parvati was happy to see his dedication and begged Lord Shiva to grant the moneylender's requests. 'O Parvati, the one who gets what is in his destiny gets that,' Lord Shiva replied. Every living person reaps the benefits of his actions, but Goddess Parvati insisted on having Shiva grant his requests. The Lord, who fulfilled Goddess Parvati's stubbornness, awarded the money lender the bounty of a son, but also said the kid was short-lived. At the age of 12 he's going to die. The lender listened to Mata Parvati and Lord Shiva's discourse, thus the Shiva's blessing did not bring delight or sadness. He kept worshipping as before.
After some time, the money lender had a son and the money lender sent him to study Kashi with his mother's uncle at the age of 11. At the same time, he gave the son money, and he stated he need to go and serve the Brahmins food and yagna. Kashi was headed by uncle and nephew.
There was a village along the route where the king's daughter was getting married, but the prince she was marrying was Kana. Because the king was unaware of this, everyone felt it would be a good idea to make the moneylender's son a bridegroom. He further stipulated that after the marriage, he would provide money to the moneylender's son and transport the princess to his city. The moneylender's son consented after considerable persuading.
Rajkumar opened the pole
The moneylender's son was married to the princess in place of the prince, but after the wedding, he told her, "You are married to me, but the prince with whom you will be sent has a blind eye." I'm planning a trip to Kashi. When the princess learned of this, she informed her father and refused to accompany the prince.
Shiva gave the boon of being alive
The moneylender's son then travelled to Kashi with his maternal uncle and began practising Yagya there. On the day of the conflict, he was twelve years old. The child informed his uncle that he was not feeling well and that he needed to rest. He died as soon as he fell asleep and began to mourn. After then, Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati left the area. Swami, I cannot endure the sound of someone sobbing, Mother Parvati replied to God. Please relieve him of his anguish. Then Shiva revealed to the goddess that he was the son of the same short-lived moneylender. Goddess Parvati felt upset and pleaded, "Lord, raise this boy's age or else his parents would die in pain due to their separation. On the request of Goddess Parvati, Lord Shiva granted the boy a boon to be alive.
The king recognized the princess and then married
After finishing his studies, the moneylender's son was returning to his hometown. He stayed in the same place where he had married the princess in the meantime. As soon as he arrived, the monarch recognised him and summoned him to the palace, where he was remarried to the princess and then sent away with his daughter to her home. A hungry and thirsty son awaited the moneylender and his wife. He had promised to give up his life if his son would not return, but he was overjoyed to see his son with his daughter-in-law.
