About the Founder – Captain Chand Roop

Guru Chand Roop Akhara was established by Captain Chand Roop (popularly known as Chand Roop Pahalwan), a highly respected figure in Indian wrestling. He was honored with the prestigious Dronacharya Award in 2010 for his outstanding contribution to the sport as a coach.

With decades of experience, Captain Chand Roop has trained several world-class wrestlers who have represented India on global platforms.
