The Vedic mantra Akhanda mandala karam - This Cosmos and the Show Universe are One Resolute Element – is the main statement of Akhanda. Through their partnership, World Conscious Yoga Family, we have given the teachings and approach to class methods of Yogi Vishvketu (Vishva-ji) and Chétana Panwar the name Akhanda Yoga. In Rishikesh, there is a well-known place to study yoga.
For yoga aficionados from all around the world, the Ashram offers a rejuvenating East-meets-West getaway. YogrishiVishvketu co-founded the Ashram in 2007 as the Akhanda Yoga centre and a great place to stay for our YTT programmes. The Ashram lies at Tapovan - Rishikesh, some 250 kilometres north of Delhi, a vibrant international town of spiritual searchers. Tapovan, which translates to "yogi's woodland," is regarded as the entryway to the Himalayas. The Ashram is located on a bluff above the Ganga (Ganges River) and is bordered on three sides by mountains.
